It has been shown to be effective against cell line A549 and MDA-MB-231. This compound may be useful as an anticancer drug due to its ability to inhibit the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and proteins in cancer cells. 3-(Allyloxy)benzoic acid binds cisplatin and inhibits it from binding to DNA.
