Product Information
Bacopasaponin C is a natural compound that has been found to be effective in the treatment of infectious diseases. It is a P-glycoprotein substrate as well as an inhibitor of nuclear DNA damage. Bacopasaponin C has been shown to have neuroprotective properties, which may be due to its ability to reduce oxidative stress and increase mitochondrial membrane potential. This drug is also able to inhibit chronic oral toxicity and is not cytotoxic at doses up to 2000 mg/kg. Bacopasaponin C has been used in pharmaceutical preparations for the treatment of neurological disorders, such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, cerebral infarcts, and epilepsy.
