31 amino acid polypeptide sequence of Monkeypox (Mpox) Virus Zaire B21R-B conjugated to BSA. This mpox virus B21R-B peptide conjugate can be used to assist assay manufacturers with the production of critical serology assays, with specificity to mpox and other non-vaccinia OPVs. Cymit Quimica’s mpox virus peptides contain the surface glycoprotein B21R and this region contains important antibody targets as well as several key immunodominant epitopes. When conjugated to a carrier protein like BSA, this has been shown to greatly improve the sensitivity of the assay compared to unconjugated peptide, and enhance stability.
