Product Information
Desmethyl ferroquine is a natural antibiotic that is active against bacteria, fungi, viruses and parasites. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of infections caused by Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans, and Trichomonas vaginalis. Desmethyl ferroquine inhibits protein synthesis by binding to ribosomes and preventing peptide bond formation. This compound also inhibits RNA synthesis and DNA replication. Desmethyl ferroquine has been shown to have an anti-inflammatory effect due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
