    Product Information

    Name:Phortress dihydrochloride
    Brand:Biosynth
Description:Phortress is a diagnostic agent that belongs to the class of transcription-polymerase chain reaction (PCR) reagents. It is used in the diagnosis of cancers and other diseases by detecting mutations in DNA sequences. Phortress can also be used to detect mutations in RNA sequences, such as messenger RNA (mRNA). The active form of Phortress is hydrolyzed by esterases or glucuronidases, oxidized by cytochrome P450 enzymes, reduced by glutathione reductase, or conjugated with glucuronic acid. Phortress has been shown to inhibit angiogenesis and tumor growth in vitro and in vivo, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the synthesis of proteins required for vascularization and cell proliferation. Phortress contains an anti-angiogenic peptide that inhibits protein synthesis and prevents cells from growing. This peptide targets several steps of the chemical pathway that leads to angiogenesis: it
