Amino-dPEG®4 Acid is a peptide that is radiolabeled with technetium (Tc). The amino acid sequence of the peptide contains a cyclic octamer motif, which has been shown to inhibit angiogenesis. This compound has been shown to be effective in clinical trials for the treatment of cancer. Amino-dPEG®4 Acid was administered intravenously and showed high uptake in tumor xenografts. It also had low clearance rates and a long half-life, leading to its use as a potential radiotracer for cancer imaging.
