NHS-m-dPEG®, MW 245 is a methoxy terminated amine reactive reagent. It can be used for the synthesis of peptides and proteins with a variety of chemistries. NHS-m-dPEG®, MW 245 can react with amino acids or amino acid derivatives to form amide bonds. The NHS group is then cleaved off by hydrolysis in order to leave an amine terminus. This reagent is also useful as a building block in the synthesis of polymers that are terminated with an amine group.
