NHS-m-dPEG® (MW = 333) is a monomer that can be used in the synthesis of peptides. It has been shown to have a resonator, which can be used for structural biology and microscopy studies. It also has been shown to denature at constant temperature, which is useful for kinetic studies. The NHS-m-dPEG® (MW = 333) is insoluble and must be dissolved in an organic solvent before use. This compound is not amenable to desorption or reaction with water, making it more difficult for analysis by cryo-electron microscopy.
