NHS-m-dPEG® is an NHS ester of m-dPEG®. It is a reactive, building block reagent that can be used in peptide synthesis. The product is available as a white solid with a molecular weight of 509 and a purity of >98%. This reagent can be used to modify proteins or other compounds through the reaction between NHS esters and amines. This reagent is also useful for attaching carboxyl groups to surfaces or polymers. The product has been shown to react with primary amines at pH range of 4-7.
