Description:
Carboxyl-dPEG®4-(m-dPEG®12)3 is a synthetically produced reagent. It is activated by reaction with glycols and converted to the corresponding amide. This product is a water-soluble building block that can be used in peptide synthesis, in which it functions as an amide. Carboxyl-dPEG®4-(m-dPEG®12)3 also reacts with methoxy groups to form esters, which are hydrodynamic and have a low water solubility.
