Cbz-N-Amido-dPEG8-Acid is a reagent from Quanta BioDesign. It is a Building Block for the synthesis of peptides and proteins. This product is a homo or heterobifunctional crosslinker that contains an amide bond at one end and an activated ester at the other end. Cbz-N-Amido-dPEG8-Acid can be used to attach peptides, proteins, nucleic acids, or small molecules to surfaces such as glass slides and microarrays. The ester group on this reagent reacts with amino groups on the surface of proteins, while the amide group attaches to carboxyl groups found in peptides and nucleic acids.
