t-Boc-N-Amido-dPEG®4-Acid is a building block that is used in solid phase synthesis. In this type of synthesis, the building blocks are attached to a solid support and then reacted with one another. Building blocks can be used as reagents in peptide synthesis. One example of an application is the synthesis of peptides containing polyethylene glycol (PEG) side chains. t-Boc-N-Amido-dPEG®4-Acid is also used for the preparation of dPEGs and dPEG Merrifield Boc building blocks for peptide synthesis.
