Amino-dPEG®12-Tris (dPEG®12-Tris (m-dPEG®11)3)3 is a neurotrophic factor that has been shown to increase mitochondrial membrane potential and monoamine neurotransmitters in hl-60 cells. It also increased the activity of the ubiquitin ligases, resulting in increased degradation of cytosolic proteins and dna duplexes. The reaction mechanism for activating amino-dPEG®12-Tris (dPEG®12-Tris (m-dPEG®11)3)3 is not yet fully understood, but it may involve the formation of covalent bonds between amino groups and the hydroxyl groups on the surface of the drug molecule.
