Quanta BioDesign's Building Blocks include amino acids such as lysine and aspartic acid, amino-dPEG®8-OH (a spacer), and dPEG®8-OH (a building block). Amino-dPEG®8-OH is a spacer that can be used to modify the primary amine of a lysine residue in a peptide. It has been shown to be useful for generating quaternary ammonium salt bonds in peptides. Quanta BioDesign also provides reagents such as DMTCl (an oxidizing agent) and TFA (a strong acid).
