Quanta BioDesign’s Azido-dPEG® ester is a reagent for the synthesis of peptides. It can be used in two ways: as a building block to generate peptide chains and as an intermediate in the generation of dPEG-derivatized amino acid derivatives. The chemistry is based on the reaction of azido-dPEG with an amino acid or peptide, which generates a covalent linkage between the azido group and the amino terminus of the peptide chain.
