Quanta BioDesign's Biotin-dPEG®11-MAL is a reagent that is used for peptide synthesis. It has a spacer of 11 amino acid residues and an attached biotin group at the N-terminus. The biotin group can be used to link the peptide to a streptavidin protein, which allows it to bind to a surface coated with streptavidin. Biotin-dPEG®11-MAL has been shown to be effective in producing peptides over a wide range of molecular weights, as well as for purifying peptides using affinity chromatography.
