Biotin-dPEG®3-TFPA is a reagent that is used for the biotinylation of peptides and proteins. It contains a spacer arm with two reactive groups, one for attachment to the peptide and one for attachment to biotin. The reagent can be synthesized in three steps with Quanta BioDesign's dPEG Biotinylation Reagents. It can be used as an alternative to other biotinylation reagents, such as Sulfo-NHS ester of DSPE (sulfosuccinimidyl 6-[biotinamido] hexanoate).
