Product Information
Bis-dPEG®13-NHS Ester is a cell permeable, non-toxic derivative of polyethylene glycol (PEG) with the ability to modify proteins. It is used as a research tool for pharmacology and protein interactions. The bis-dPEG®13-NHS Ester binds to an antibody and alters its function by altering the conformation of the antibody. This modification can be reversed by adding hydroxylamine or sodium hydroxide, which will restore the original structure of the antibody. Bis-dPEG®13-NHS Ester also has been used in cell biology as a potent inhibitor of ion channels.
