Description

Bis-dPEG®5, Half Benzyl Half NHS Ester is a viscosity modifier that is used in the synthesis of peptides. It has been shown to have thermodynamic properties that are comparable to those of polyethylene glycols and polyoxyethylene ethers. This product can be used in the synthesis of peptides at high temperatures, up to 80°C. Bis-dPEG®5, Half Benzyl Half NHS Ester can also be used for adsorption studies of proteins and other biomolecules due to its low density and ability to bind serum albumin and other proteins. This product is also available with different molecular weights.
