- (4R)-4-[(1S)-1-Fluoroethyl]-3-[2-[[(1S)-1-[4-methyl-2'-(trifluoromethyl) [3,4'-bipyridin]-6-yl]ethyl]amino]-4-pyrimidinyl]-2-oxazolid inone
IDH 305 is a retinoic acid that is used in the treatment of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC). It has been shown to inhibit cancer cell growth in vitro and in vivo. Retinoic acid binds to cellular retinoic acid receptors, which activate transcription factors that regulate gene expression. The activity of IDH 305 may be due to its ability to inhibit glucose transporters, leading to decreased uptake of glucose into cells and inhibition of histone methylation and DNA synthesis.
