Product Information
- 2,3-Pyridinedicarboxamide
- Quinolinamide
Pyridine-2,3-dicarboxamide is an amide of pyridine and 2,3-dicarboxylic acid. It is a crystalline solid that has been used as a diagnostic substrate for the analysis of metallocene catalysts. Pyridine-2,3-dicarboxamide is stable in the temperature range between -60 °C to 120 °C and has antibacterial activity when it binds to anions such as hydroxide ion. The structure of this compound can be analyzed through X-ray diffraction and its metallacycles can be studied using infrared spectroscopy.
