N-Chloroacetyl-L-tyrosine inhibits the activity of diazonium salt and conjugates, which are involved in polypeptide synthesis and DNA replication. It also has an inhibitory effect on functional groups, such as hydroxyl, amine, sulfhydryl, carboxylate, phosphate, and phosphoric acid.
