Lirinidine is a drug that is used to control symptoms of pain, depression, and anxiety. It has antioxidative activity and may have synergic effects with other drugs, such as 2-d nmr. Lirinidine is also an antioxidant that decreases lipid peroxide levels in blood plasma and skin condition. Lirinidine has been shown to have a synergic effect on the pain model in mice. This compound is not metabolized by the liver and can be used as a health functional food because it leads to decreased levels of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) transporter in the brain.
