Product Information
Ergolide is a sesquiterpene lactone that has shown potent inhibitory activity against cancer cells. Ergolide inhibits the receptor activity of LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells and has been shown to inhibit the growth factor production of TNFα. Ergolide also binds to DNA, which may be related to its ability to suppress tumor growth. It also has anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. Ergolide is used as an anti-cancer treatment, and has been shown to be effective in treating inflammatory diseases such as asthma and arthritis.
