Description:

Corymine is a molecule that has been found to have inhibitory effects on pancreatic cancer cells. This molecule is also active against other cancers, such as prostate cancer and leukemia. The mechanism of action for corymine is not yet fully understood but it may involve the inhibition of an enzyme called phospholipase A2. Corymine also has a pharmacokinetic profile that makes it suitable for oral administration. There are no known irritant or toxic effects associated with this molecule and its asymmetric synthesis makes it possible to produce large quantities at a low cost.
