Product Information
4-Phenyl-2-(piperazin-1-yl)quinazoline is a ligand that has been shown to bind to integrin alphaIIbbeta3. It has also been shown to inhibit the activity of human platelets and potently inhibit the activity of human thrombin. The molecular docking studies have shown that this ligand interacts with the binding site on the integrin alphaIIbbeta3, which is responsible for the binding of a number of ligands. This compound has been found to be an affinity and potent inhibitor of platelet activation, which may be due to its inhibition of integrin alphaIIbbeta3.
