Product Information

Name:
Leniolisib
Description:

Leniolisib is a small molecule that inhibits the lipid kinase activity of the enzyme phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K). This drug has been shown to have an anti-inflammatory effect in vitro, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the secretion of inflammatory mediators and cytokines from activated macrophages. Leniolisib also has been shown to have immunosuppressive properties, which may be due to its ability to induce apoptosis in lymphocytes. This drug also has been shown to suppress the growth of tumor cells in vitro by inhibiting cell cycle progression at G1 phase and inducing senescence. This drug may have potential as a therapeutic for autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis.
