Product Information
Fk1052 hydrochloride is a drug that has been shown to be mediated by the 5-HT4 receptor. It has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on cancer cells in vivo. Fk1052 hydrochloride binds to the 5HT4 receptor, which is expressed in regions of the brain that are involved with mood and anxiety. This binding leads to an increase in serotonin release and inhibition of cancer cell growth. Fk1052 hydrochloride also inhibits cisplatin-induced nausea and vomiting, which occurs through its ability to inhibit serotonin release from the gut.
