Product Information

Name:
CRTh2 antagonist 1
Description:

CRTh2 antagonist 1 is a drug that inhibits the histamine receptor, CRTh2. It has shown efficacy in treating respiratory diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), as well as gastrointestinal disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). CRTh2 antagonist 1 is also an inhibitor of phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4), which plays a role in inflammatory diseases such as asthma. Inhibiting PDE4 causes an increase in cAMP levels, which then leads to relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle and increased mucus production. The active ingredients are currently being tested for their efficacy in treating gastrointestinal diseases like IBS and inflammatory diseases like asthma.
