Product Information
3-(Dimethoxymethyl)-2-methoxyoxolane is an isomeric compound that can be oxidized to form the corresponding n-substituted decarbonyl compound. This reaction is efficient and can be catalyzed by hydrazines or pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid. The decarbonylated product can then be converted back to 3-(dimethoxymethyl)-2-methoxyoxolane through a recyclization reaction, which may result in the formation of pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid.
