Description:EBE-A 22 is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that binds to the ATP-binding site of the enzyme and prevents it from transferring phosphate groups. It is orally active and has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in mice with Ewing sarcoma, myeloma cell lines, and squamous carcinomas. EBE-A 22 has also been shown to inhibit tyrosine kinase activity, leading to decreased proliferation of various cells and inhibition of ribosome synthesis. This drug also inhibits receptor activity by binding to the ATP-binding site on the receptor, preventing it from eliciting a cellular response.
