Product Information

Name:
1-[4-(Diethylsulfamoyl)-2-nitrophenyl]piperidine-4-carboxylic acid
Controlled Product
Description:

1-[4-(Diethylsulfamoyl)-2-nitrophenyl]piperidine-4-carboxylic acid is an inhibitor of the human immunoglobulin E (IgE) receptor. It blocks the binding of IgE to its receptor, preventing activation of mast cells and basophils. This inhibits the release of histamine and other inflammatory mediators from these cells. 1-[4-(Diethylsulfamoyl)-2-nitrophenyl]piperidine-4-carboxylic acid has also been shown to function as a ligand for various ion channels, including nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, 5HT3 receptors, and GABA A receptors.
