Product Information
Norcaesalpinin E is an undescribed natural compound with potent inhibitory activity against intracellular levels of the parasite. It is a polyphosphoric acid that has been shown to have antimalarial activity. Norcaesalpinin E inhibits the replication of cells and prevents the development of infectious diseases. It has been found to be active against a variety of bacterial strains, including Escherichia coli, Salmonella enterica, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter baumannii, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Enterococcus faecalis. This chemical reaction may be due to the cyclodehydration or dehydration of diterpenes in this compound. Norcaesalpinin E also increases the intracellular levels of lactone compounds in bacteria and can cause them to die.
