PknG Inhibitor is an inhibitor that binds to the kinase domain of PknG and prevents it from carrying out its enzymatic activity. This irreversible inhibition leads to a reduced growth rate and a decrease in viability. The binding of PknG Inhibitor to the kinase domain has been shown by molecular modeling and chemical crosslinking experiments.
