Description:Enolase-1 is a glycolytic enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of 2-phosphoglycerate to phosphoenolpyruvate. It is a homotetrameric enzyme composed of two alpha and two beta subunits. Enolase-1 has been shown to be an ion channel in some cells, and has been implicated in the regulation of cellular processes such as cell proliferation, migration, and apoptosis. The recombinant protein is produced by HEK293 cells and purified by proprietary chromatography techniques.
