AX-024 HCl is a drug designed for cancer treatment. It is a potent inhibitor of the human mismatch repair (MMR) protein, which is involved in the DNA mismatch repair process. This drug is used as a countermeasure to mismatched DNA following chemotherapy treatment in cancer patients. The inhibition of MMR activity by AX-024 HCl reduces the risk of cancer recurrence and relapse.
