Brand:Biosynth
Description:4-Aminobenzamidine dihydrochloride is used as an analytical reagent for protease activity in tissue culture. It can also be used to inhibit the transcription-polymerase chain reaction (PCR) by binding to the catalytic site of the serine protease, which prevents DNA synthesis and transcription. 4-Aminobenzamidine dihydrochloride has been shown to inhibit platelet aggregation and possesses anti-inflammatory properties. It does not induce any adverse effects on skin or hair. The drug also binds with metal ions such as copper, iron, and zinc, preventing their absorption by the body. 4-Aminobenzamidine dihydrochloride is a metal chelate that also inhibits epidermal growth factor (EGF) and monoclonal antibodies.
