• Description: N-Acetyl-L-leucine is a natural amino acid that has been shown to have therapeutic potential in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. N-acetyl-L-leucine binds to DNA duplexes and inhibits the formation of protein aggregates, which are associated with neurodegenerative disorders. N-acetyl-L-leucine also has a high affinity for neuronal receptors, which may be due to its basic nature.
