(Ala1·3·11·15)-Endothelin-1 trifluoroacetate salt H-Ala-Ser-Ala-Ser-Ser-Leu-Met-Asp-Lys-Glu-Ala-Val-Tyr-Phe-Ala-His-Leu) is a phorbol ester, which is an analog of endothelin. It has been shown to inhibit the production of proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines in vitro and in vivo. This compound also inhibits the migration and proliferation of vascular endothelial cells, which may be due to its ability to suppress Ca2+ concentration.
