Description:
4-Acetylpyrazole is a hydrogen bond donor that has been shown to have antitumor effects. It is structurally related to other drugs such as phenacetin, acetaminophen, and acetaminophene. 4-Acetylpyrazole inhibits the growth of human breast carcinoma cells in culture by suppressing DNA synthesis and protein synthesis.
