The structure of this molecule consists of an apical nitrogen atom, two chlorine atoms, and three carbon atoms. 1-Allyl-1H-benzo[d][1,2,3]triazole is used in the synthesis of metal surfaces to catalyze the oxidation process. In addition to its use as a catalyst, it can be used as an intermediate for other organic compounds.
1AHT can also be used in radiation applications such as electron microscopy because it has high fluorescence when exposed to ultraviolet light or radiation.
