Aloinoside B is a natural compound that has been shown to have potential anticancer activity. It inhibits the growth of colorectal adenocarcinoma cells by damaging the mitochondria and inducing apoptosis. Aloinoside B also inhibits tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) production in colorectal cancer cells and suppresses the inflammatory response. This compound has been shown to induce significant cytotoxicity in cell lines from various types of cancer, such as carcinoma cell lines, and to inhibit signal pathways involved in the proliferation of cancer cells. Aloinoside B is thought to affect physiological processes that can lead to tumor suppression, such as mitochondrial membrane potential and Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) signaling.
