Description:AZD 4877 is a novel new drug that inhibits the tumor-promoting growth factor TGF-β. It has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of bladder and kidney cancer cells, as well as T-cell lymphomas. AZD 4877 also inhibits the production of proinflammatory cytokines and induces apoptotic cell death in vitro. In addition, this drug downregulates the expression of SIRT2 and p21/WAF1 pathways, which are responsible for cell growth and survival. Clinical studies have shown that AZD 4877 has an inhibitory effect on urothelial carcinoma cells in vivo.
