4-Aminobenzoylmorpholine is a novel, hydrophobic compound that is active against tyrosine kinases. It has been shown to have the ability to inhibit the activity of these enzymes in the nanomolar range and induce cell death in cancer cells. 4-Aminobenzoylmorpholine was designed to replace pyridine compounds with trisubstituted amines, which are more selective for inhibiting protein kinases. This substitution led to a higher degree of potency and selectivity for this drug, as well as a reduction in toxicity.
