Description:Alprenolol hydrochloride is a beta-adrenergic receptor blocker that is used to treat high blood pressure, angina pectoris, and myocardial infarcts. It binds to the β1-adrenergic receptor in the myocardium and blocks the stimulation of adenylate cyclase.
