Description:
Acetic acid N-hydroxysuccinimide ester is a reactive compound that reacts with lysine residues in proteins. It is used as an analytical reagent and chemical intermediate. Acetic acid N-hydroxysuccinimide ester reacts with carbonyl groups to form Schiff bases, which are then reacted with amino groups on the protein molecule to form acyl-amino adducts.
