Description:L-Arg-Pro-pNA is a peptide hormone that has been shown to increase the proliferation of epidermal cells. It also has been shown to have an energy metabolism function, and is involved in the synthesis of other peptides. L-Arg-Pro-pNA inhibits serine protease activity and exhibits reactive properties, which may be due to its ability to bind with thiol groups on proteins. This protein also binds with epidermal growth factor (EGF) and appears to stimulate the growth of epidermal cells.
