Description

L-Isoleucine is a non-essential amino acid that can be synthesized in the body. It is an inhibitor of fatty acid biosynthesis, which reduces the production of butyric acid. L-Isoleucine also inhibits enzymatic reactions such as protein synthesis and cyclic peptide formation. L-Isoleucine has been shown to inhibit leukemia cells and cell nuclei in vitro. It is also used in biochemical and chemical analyses due to its isomerism.
