Description:

5-(4-Aminophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thiol is an analog of benzoate. It has been shown to possess anticancer activity in vitro and in vivo, as well as antifungal activity. 5-(4-Aminophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thiol is a synthetic compound that has been refluxed for up to 24 hours with cisplatin and fluconazole. 5-(4-Aminophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thiol binds to DNA by covalent bonds at the N7 position of guanine or N8 position of adenine residues.
