Description:

Aluminum tert-butoxide is a chemical compound that can be used in the synthesis of natural products. It is often used to prepare chiral boranes and diethyl ketomalonate, which are useful for stereoselective reactions. This compound has been shown to react with chloromethyl ketone and palladium complexes to produce the corresponding ethers.
